Wera 3888/4/1 Rapidaptor Universal Bit Holder Stainless 1/4"x50mm 071100
Universal holder for the take-up of bits with ¼" hexagon head drive as per DIN ISO 1173-C 6.3 (ISO 1173). Stainless design to prevent extraneous rust. Comes with Rapidaptor technology, which allows bits to be attached without any need to actuate the sleeve. The removal of the bit is simple, just by pushing the sleeve forward - for rapid bit change with just one hand. ¼" hexagon, suitable for power screwdrivers with take-up as per DIN ISO 1173-F 6.3.
Extraneous rust
Stainless steel has the property of not rusting. However, if tools made out of conventional steel are used for stainless steel components or screws, the particles left behind from these tools can adhere to the surface and then rust. This effect – known as extraneous rust – can impair the visual appearance and even cause structural damage that may result in expensive repair work. The wear particles that cause this rust effect can be prevented by using stainless steel tools.
Rapidaptor stainless steel
Manufactured out of stainless steel thus preventing the formation of unsightly extraneous rust when working with stainless steel. Additionally, it offers all the advantages of the Rapidaptor technology.
Rapid-in and self-lock
The bit can be pushed into the adaptor without moving the sleeve. The lock is activated automatically as soon as the bit is applied to the screw. Bits are held securely and wobble-free.
Rapid-out
Simply push the sleeve forward to change the bit. The spring mechanism lifts the bit off the magnet and unlocks the tool. The bit can be easily removed. The rapid-out function makes it easy to remove even the smallest bits without extra tools.
Chuck-all
The Rapidaptor quick-release chucks hold ¼" DIN ISO 1173-C 6,3 and E 6,3 as well as Wera series 1 and 4 bits.
Rapid-spin
The free-turning sleeve allows screw steadying at the start of the screwdriving process. This makes it easier to apply the tool to the screw and prevents slipping. It can also be used as a short extension for ¼" applications e.g. in combination with the Wera Zyklop Ratchets.

SHIPPING
A delivery and handling charge applies to all orders with the exception of back-ordered items.
Unless otherwise required by Buyer, Seller will make transport arrangements as follows:
For deliveries within the metropolitan areas of mainland State capital cities a standard freight charge may be added to invoice; goods
For delivery outside those areas, seller will select the transport to be used and prepay freight for Buyer. Seller will then bill Buyer for freight at Seller's discretion.
Should the Buyer request goods be sent to a Post Office box the Buyer acknowledges this method is the only available and therefore the Seller is not liable for undelivered goods.
Free shipping on orders over $199 incl GST (valid for 1 delivery per order and excludes NT, WA & TAS). If only part of the order is in stock, the customer has the option of paying for a second delivery if they require a partial shipment prior to all goods becoming available. Mektronics Australia reserves the right to charge additional freight in the event of hazardous, bulky or heavy items ordered.
DELIVERY TIME
All quoted delivery or consignment dates are estimates only, given without engagement.
Delay in consignment of any part of an order shall not relieve Buyer of its obligation to accept and pay for the remainder of the order.
Except as provided in paragraph 1.2 of Terms & Conditions, seller will not be liable to pay damages or compensation for any injury or loss sustained by Buyer
a) in the event of a delay in consignment or delivery of goods: or
b) in the event of non delivery.
Goods offered ex-stock by Seller are subject to prior sale.
In the event of any happening beyond Seller's reasonable control in consequence of which Seller cannot effect consignment by the time or times quoted or specified, Seller shall be entitled to consign part only of an order, suspend consignment or extend the time for consignment, for the period during which such cause of delay operates, or may cancel the order, and in the event of such suspension, extension or cancellation, Seller shall not be liable for damages.
