Priority Channel and Auto Sleep

The soldering station features a built-in sensor that automatically detects which iron is in use and seamlessly switches channels. Unused irons are on standby and maintained at the set temperature, eliminating delays during switching and delivering maximum power in a compact station design. The built-in sensors also enables auto-sleep/auto-shutoff for greater efficiency and tip protection. 

Wide Variety of Handpieces

The soldering station includes the standard FX-9701 soldering iron and the FR-4103 desoldering gun. It is also compatible with additional handpieces from the FX-971/972 series, including models FX-9702 through FX-9708. This provides a total of nine interchangeable tools, supporting a wide range of applications such as micro soldering, N2 soldering, and heavy-duty soldering.

40% Reduction of cycle time

Similar to the FX-971 and FX-972, the all-new FX-973 features a lower cycle time, allowing soldering work to be completed in a shorter time, improving work efficiency. 

Highly Visible Display and LED Indicators

The large display panel clearly presents key information, including the set temperature, tip sensor temperature, and pre-set settings. Its wide viewing angle and high-brightness screen ensure excellent visibility from all directions. Separate LED indicators are also on the panel for an easy overview - Clogging Indicator and 3 separate lights for each respective handpiece.

The LED clogging indicator visualizes the suction status, making it easy to know when maintenance is required, such as cleaning or filter replacement; The lights above the handpieces quickly shows which handpiece is in use (lighted up) or not in use (flashing).

Infrared Communication 

When paired with a tip thermometer (FG-100B or FG-101B), temperature correction and calibration can be performed automatically via infrared signals.

Software

The provided software allows tracking and recording of hot air temperature settings, calibration, correction, and history - providing review and analysis with ease.

High Powered FR-4103 Desoldering Gun

With a 140W power and an increased heater output of 3x*, soldering on multi-layered boards are now a piece of cake! The heater and anti-clogging function (ACF) reliably sends solder to the filter pipe, reducing clogging. The valve function starts suction 0.2 seconds after the suction pressure increases, allowing for quick suction and reducing leftover fluid.

SHIPPING

A delivery and handling charge applies to all orders with the exception of back-ordered items.

Unless otherwise required by Buyer, Seller will make transport arrangements as follows:

For deliveries within the metropolitan areas of mainland State capital cities a standard freight charge may be added to invoice; goods

For delivery outside those areas, seller will select the transport to be used and prepay freight for Buyer. Seller will then bill Buyer for freight at Seller's discretion.

Should the Buyer request goods be sent to a Post Office box the Buyer acknowledges this method is the only available and therefore the Seller is not liable for undelivered goods.

Free shipping on orders over $199 incl GST (valid for 1 delivery per order and excludes NT, WA & TAS). If only part of the order is in stock, the customer has the option of paying for a second delivery if they require a partial shipment prior to all goods becoming available. Mektronics Australia reserves the right to charge additional freight in the event of hazardous, bulky or heavy items ordered.

DELIVERY TIME

All quoted delivery or consignment dates are estimates only, given without engagement.

Delay in consignment of any part of an order shall not relieve Buyer of its obligation to accept and pay for the remainder of the order.

Except as provided in paragraph 1.2 of Terms & Conditions, seller will not be liable to pay damages or compensation for any injury or loss sustained by Buyer

a) in the event of a delay in consignment or delivery of goods: or

b) in the event of non delivery.

Goods offered ex-stock by Seller are subject to prior sale.

In the event of any happening beyond Seller's reasonable control in consequence of which Seller cannot effect consignment by the time or times quoted or specified, Seller shall be entitled to consign part only of an order, suspend consignment or extend the time for consignment, for the period during which such cause of delay operates, or may cancel the order, and in the event of such suspension, extension or cancellation, Seller shall not be liable for damages.
